What flowering leaves behind: a small cluster of white seed heads in grass, and green seed pods around an open poppy.

What the pair shows
After bloom is the band for what stays. In Study A only seed heads remain: a small white cluster above dried, star-shaped flower heads, almost lost in the grass.
Study B shows two stages in one frame: an open poppy, with pods and buds on the stems around it. It belongs here as much as in the first band, and it makes the point of the pairing: flowering and seeding happen side by side.
